Overview:

The former historic William Barton Rogers Middle School, formerly Hyde Park High School, built in 1902, is New England’s first LGBTQ-friendly senior housing development. The adaptive reuse provides 74 units of affordable senior housing. The preservation of the building includes the historic exterior façade, as well as noteworthy architectural elements such as the frieze and stage in the auditorium, mosaic tiles, gymnasium and more. These spaces offer residents and the community a place to congregate for meals, events, meetings and more.
